MTP® pigtail trunk cables with low-loss MTP® connectors are factory-terminated and rigorously tested to ensure verified optical performance and enhanced network integrity. Featuring a flexible and routable breakout design, they eliminate the need for furcation when routed directly into hardware, allowing individual access to each ribbon for efficient management within splice trays.

These pigtails enable the deployment of high-density permanent links in a single assembly for data center applications that require quick infrastructure deployment.

Option for Both Male and Female Connectors
MTP® connectors utilize two alignment pins on one connector and two holes on the opposite connector. Female connectors can be identified by the two cable pins on the end of the connector.

The female (without pins) connector can be directly connected to transceivers or other male connectors.
The male (with pins) connector is combined with the female connector for additional distance by using adapters.

Ideal for Quick Field Splicing
The pigtails enable the rapid deployment of high-density permanent links in a single assembly, ideal for data center applications that require quick infrastructure deployment.
